ABOUT THE DESIGNER

My name is Patricia and I'm a young Fashion Designer. As a designer, I strive to create designs that appear familiar, yet have an uncanniness and odd impression. For my Graduate Collection, I was inspired by the mechanical quality of Artist Vieira da Silva and the freedom of the Gutai Art movement.

 

My intent was to capture the concept of “nostalgia for something you’ve never experienced, and hope for the future.” While capturing the movement of the garments to explore this unsettling feeling, associated with a utopian view of past decades portrayed on social media.
